Hitchhiker’s Guide dream cast: Andrea Riseborough as Trillian
Andrea is really a brilliant actress who does not get enough credit. I urge you all to watch her in ITV’s The Devil’s Whore (a woman’s role in the English Civil war, it is a great mini series which is sharp, uncompromising, accurate, and passionate).
She is perfect for Trillian: while Zooey Deschanel was spacey and emotional, Andrea would be able to channel Trillain’s compassion, empathy and intelligence while maintaining the ruthless edge and aloof attitude that made Trillian such a compelling character. Also, Andrea has great presence and gives a no nonsense attitude to her other characters that would work perfectly for Trillian.
